Lieutenant Hope was a victim of animal cruelty and was discovered with a badly injured leg that required extensive care. The Gulf Coast Humane Society took her in and worked tirelessly to save her right front leg. Unfortunately, they were left with no choice but to amputate. After her surgery, Hope was noticeably happier and relieved, almost as if a weight had been lifted off her. Her strength and resilience are truly remarkable, serving as a reminder that hope can triumph even in the toughest of times.
